Rating: B- :
A documentary can have many different messages it will try to convey, some more obvious than others. Micheal Moore's films never pretend to be anything but a political message and pretty much any that you turn on your television on the History Channel are historical non-fiction. Young At Heart is essentially an uplifting tale of an elderly performance group that at times does make you want to reach through the screen and hug them. The movie sags at a couple points where the downtrodden seem to take center stage, but despite the dip you can't help but root for these guys as they struggle to learn modern music and perform it in a manner few will see an equal to.
