The Freak's Rating: B- : No, it isn't really a great picture, but anyone who was between the ages of 5 and 25 in 1985 saw this and was entertained. Logic goes out the window for sure, storylines are borderline ridiculous and some of the dialogue is disturbingly awful. That said, Kelly LeBrocke in her prime is still one of the hottest girls I've seen on film (poor thing REALLY went down hill as of late) and Anthony Micheal Hall has some funny lines. Robert Downey Jr and Bill Paxton also have great cameos. It is 80s through and through. If you find that ridiculous, move on to another movie. If you find it sentimental give this one a shot if you somehow missed it.
