The Freak's Rating: A+ : A few films stick with you your entire life. National Lampoon's Vacation is one of those for me. It was the first time I ever had a crush on someone in a movie (Christie Brinkley) and the first time I laughed hysterically so many times at the lead in a movie (Chase). Vacation is without question one of the greatest comedies ever created, and Clark Griswold one of the best characters of all time.

Chase is fantastic in every scene and the supporting cast compliments him quite well. The script is great, dialogue hilarious and comedic situations timed and orchestrated perfectly. Finding a flaw with this 26 year old film is hard to do.
