The Freak's Rating: B : I have to disagree at about an 80% level with Brian. I believe one of the only reasons to see this film is for the acting, including that done by Woody Harrelson. Emily Mortemer is fantastic as his wife and Kate Mara is wonderful as the hitchhiker aboard the train. Ben Kingsley is reliably awesome as the police detective as well.

There are plot twists here that are wildly entertaining and off base as well. Overall it is a good flick, one that you might catch on television late one night and say the next day, "that was pretty good!". Worthy of a rental for sure.

Brian's Rating: B- :
This movie squeaks its way into the recommendation category for me, and would be there more solidly if not for the overall suckiness of Woody Harrelson. I don't think I've ever seen him in a movie where I would even consider him adequate. I scanned through IMDB, and maybe Wag the Dog, but only because I don't remember him sucking, although he probably did.

So enough of that, the thriller is laid out fairly well with an opening murder that is tied into the entire plot line. It is not clearly evident what this had to do with anything until the final act, but apart from that its a decent train adventure gone bad. Woody was terrible, but the lead actress was very good.

There are some plot elements that I don't want to spoil, but did end up bothering me a slight bit. Overall the movie was entertaining and I would throw in a recommendation.
