Synopsis:
A sister and brother face the
realities of familial responsibility as they begin to care for their ailing
father.
Storminator's Rating: B- : This is probably a "good" movie, but way too
depressing for my tastes. Mostly an ordinary movie about people living their
ordinary, bleak lives.
The
Freak's Rating: C : I agree with Storminator on her review, but I can't
picture myself seeing it again so it slips into the C rating. I thought
this was an extremely well-acted film. Hoffman and Linney are stellar in
their accurate portrayals of adults dealing with a very adult matter. It
made me want to call my mother and go over all the details she'd like during her
"twilight years". Emotionally effective and well acted, but very
depressing.
