Synopsis:
Bridget Gregory (Linda Fiorentino)
has a lot going for her: she's beautiful, she's intelligent and she's married to
a doctor. But all of this isn't enough, as her husband Clay (Bill Pullman) finds
out. After she persuaded him to sell medicinal cocaine to some drugdealers, she
takes off with the money, almost a million dollars, and goes undercover in a
mid-American small town. Because Clay has to pay off a loan shark who'll
otherwise damage him severely, he keeps sending detectives after her, trying to
retrieve the money. When Bridget meets Mike Swale, a naive local who is blinded
by her beauty and directness, she devises an elaborate, almost diabolical scheme
to get rid of Clay once and for all.
Brian's Rating: F
:
A terrible movie. I
did not even finish watching it. I would have
rather had an enema administered with a rusty
pipe than finish this movie.
The sound
track is terrible, the screenplay is
incongruous, and the acting is bad. My wife
must have gotten this from the same list she
found Darjeeling Limited. What a pile of crap.
The only redeeming thing I can say about it
is that there still remains the possibility that
the ending is so good that it raises it up to a
D. I would doubt it though. The way the
screenplay was playing out at 80 minutes had all
the makings of the writers being recruited from
Cinemax.
