Synopsis:
Three American brothers who have not
spoken to each other in a year set off on a train voyage across India with a
plan to find themselves and bond with each other -- to become brothers again
like they used to be. Their "spiritual quest", however, veers rapidly off-course
(due to events involving over-the-counter pain killers, Indian cough syrup, and
pepper spray), and they eventually find themselves stranded alone in the middle
of the desert with eleven suitcases, a printer, and a laminating machine. At
this moment, a new, unplanned journey suddenly begins.

I need to start paying closer attention to the movies that Lisa puts on
our queue. This movie was flat out boring. I have taken accounting classes
that are more exciting. I am not sure what form of website recommended it to
her, but it needs to be permanently vetoed. The movie is about 3 brothers who
are traveling across India on a train to go visit their mother. The characters
are supposed to be interesting at some level, yet I was bored with the dialog
after about 10 minutes. Too bad, the only thing about this movie is dialog
between the brothers. Maybe there is some sort of underlying theme that is
supposed to strike a chord with the viewer, but if there is I didn't catch it.
