Synopsis:
Satirical comedy follows the
machinations of Big Tobacco's chief spokesman, Nick Naylor, who spins on behalf
of cigarettes while trying to remain a role model for his twelve-year-old son.
The Freak's
Rating: B+ : Aaron Eckhart and Jason Reitman
are at the top of their games here.
Reitman was later recognized by the American
public for his direction of Juno,
but for anyone who loved that style of
storytelling, they owe it to themselves to see
his freshman foray into directing here.
The
all star cast does a wonderful job in every part
and had the third act of the film carried a tad
more weight, this breaks into A territory for
me. As it stands, it is quite funny and is
a nice hidden gem on many video store shelves,
just waiting to be picked up.
Sebastian's
Rating: B : I found this movie quite
interesting. there were a fair amount of laughs
in this movie, and the story itself is quite
interesting.
I dont rekon it should be in the A zone,
although it's still a good movie. I havent seen
it since i came out, so I'm not going to go into
details about it.
