Why Trust Matt?

I'll be honest, I'm not nearly as obsessed with movies as Scott is.  There are plenty of "classic" movies I have never seen.  Any of the Indiana Jones or Die Hards are two examples that quickly come to my mind.  Nor do I actively seek newer films when they are in theaters.  I'd say I go to about 4 movies a year in theaters, just something I don't really do all that often.

Now that my non-credentials are out of the way here is why you want to read my reviews (if I ever put any more up).  I'm a recent college graduate, single male who considers himself someone who can appreciate a more mentally demanding film.  I dislike comedies designed for college aged males like Borat or Beerfest.  If I'm going to laugh I want it to be for clever writing or well thought out characters.  I don't need everything to be either an action shoot em up or a movie starring Will Ferrell (who I do enjoy in some roles) for me to enjoy it.

So, if you want to read movie reviews from a dashing bachelor who thinks he has some sort of culture, I'm your guy.

Favorites:  Memento, Catch Me If you Can, JFK, National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, Big Lebowski, Dazed and Confused, Dumb and Dumber, There Will Be Blood
