Synopsis:
When
a man dressed as a clown enters a bank and
attempts a robbery, no one takes him seriously
at first. But as this New Yorker pulls this
daring robbery with the help of his friends, it
looks like leaving the bank with all the stolen
money is the easy part! All they have to do now
is make it out of the city and to the airport.
They have plenty of time, but its not that easy
as they seem to get out of one problem only to
fall into another. Will they make before the
cops catch up with them?
The Freak's
Rating: B+ : I am
a lifelong Bill Murray fan. He's from
Chicago, a die hard sports fan (especially the
Illini) and a well-known good guy in Hollywood.
Add to the mixture that one of my favorite
movies of all time, Caddyshack, was also his
launching pad into stardom and you could say I
might be a little biased in my review of his
movies.
Bill
Murray, Randy Quaid and Geena Davis are a
comedic team that sometimes annoys, but always
entertains in this one. Direction,
writing, acting are all mediocre, but still it
is entertaining. Quick Change is a $5 bin
title at any Wal Mart in the country and is very
worthy of that small amount of money. With
most movies in that bin, you get what you pay
for. Quick Change, though not a contender
for best comedy ever, provides quite a few
laughs and more than you'd expect out of a movie
made 18 years ago.
The
Storminator's Rating: B+ : Good, light
fun. Reminded me of why I like Bill Murray.
