Synopsis:
Famous film director Guido Contini struggles to find harmony in his professional and personal lives, as he engages in a dramatic relationship with his wife, his mistress, his muse, his agent and his mother.
Angie's Rating: B : I was so excited about this movie! If you saw the snippet of this movie that features Kate Hudson, and you're expecting the film to be as fun and upbeat, you're in for a disappointment. This film is very well acted and the cinematography is beautiful. The storyline was a stream of conscience style but well put together, and I just wasn't in the mood for the subject matter... too serious. I would describe it as a man that has many muses in his life that he idealizes and utilize as inspiration for his work. He doesn't see them for the person they really are and selfishly uses them. The movie follows him and his thought process as he goes from oblivious to his effect on their lives to realization. I liked it but walked out mislead... kinda like the women in this movie. :)
