Synopsis:
The story recounts the early life of
Genghis Khan who was a slave before going on to conquer half the world including
Russia in 1206.

Genghis Khan should be an interesting piece of
subject matter for a movie. Brutal warlord.
Conquered a good portion of the known world.
Good on a horse.
The movie delved almost nothing on his campaign
for conquest, and touched only briefly on the
necessary first step of uniting the Mongol's.
Instead, it focused on his childhood, and what
helped mold him into who he became. This
perspective was somewhat interesting, and
reasonably well done.
The problem was that there were large gaps of
the movie that I found boring. It did a poor
job of keeping my attention, and I would have
fallen asleep if I was the least bit tired.
