Synopsis:
In Shanghai, China in the 1940s, a
wannabe gangster aspires to join the notorious "Axe Gang" while residents of a
housing complex exhibit extraordinary powers in defending their turf.
Brian's
Rating: A- : I love Kung Fu, and I love satire humor. This movie is a
satire on Kung Fu, and I thought it was both original and hilarious. A
description on the DVD case says "Loony tunes meets Kill Bill" and that sums it
up pretty well. There is even a chase scene that is directly stolen from the
Road Runner.
I look forward to watching this again, and I challenge anybody to watch it and
not laugh.
Sebastian's Rating: A : i've already seen this movie five times since i
came out 2-3 years ago.
It's humor and action is a nice blend in this movie.
