Synopsis:
Defiant young activists take the
women's suffrage movement by storm, putting their lives at risk to help American
women win the right to vote.
Brian's
Rating: B- : This was a well done move centered on one of the central
leadership figures during the suffrage movement in the late 20's. Hilary Swank
does an excellent job playing Alice Paul, and exudes leadership onto the
screen. The supporting cast was average.
It has some issues directing where there are too many 2-5 minute filler
sequences where they are playing music and flashing a montage of scenes that are
mostly unneeded, or in some cases needed dialog.
