 Synopsis:
Hot Fuzz is the story of Nick
Angel, a cop who is just too good
to stay in London. With an
unparalleled arrest record, he's
making everyone else look bad. So
the chief inspector ships Nick off
to a small town where there is no
crime. Of course, something must
be up in this quiet little town
and Nick is just the officer to
figure it out.
Nick
is paired with Danny Butterman.
Danny is a bumbling idiot who is
addicted to Hollywood action
flicks. The two characters play
good cop/stupid cop for a while
until strange murders begin
occuring in this quiet little
town. Nick spends the rest of the
film trying to solve the mystery
and educate his idiot partner on
how to be a police officer.
The
Freak's Rating: A : Hot Fuzz is the funniest British
comedy in years. The same cast and
writing team that made Shawn of the
Dead came together to make a movie
that fully embraces being a parody
of such commercial action flops as
Bad Boys II, Point Break and pretty
much anything starring Steven Segal.
As my favorite critic Richard
Roeper said, this film has more
laughs per minute than anything
since The Naked Gun. Though I
don't believe you need to
appreciate British humor to enjoy
it, doing so will only make you
love it more.

haha it sure has been a while since shaun of the
dead, now that was a classic. Its great to see
our friends back from black books, probably the
funniest show ever and to the freak, i
reccomened you watch it, cause its probably my
favourite show.
anyways, back to hot fuzz, now at first, i gotta
admit, this movie was kinda scary! when you
first see the "guy" with the grim reaper costume
and his first kill seriously scared me. And this
is exactly why i loved this movie, they miked
comedy with horror/action. Now this movie was
funny but there wasnt much comedy in it. like
when you watch a movie called "baseketball" or
watch team america, south park ect, you cant
stop laughing, well me anyways. but when you
come to a movie like this it's the stupidity and
the story that makes it funny.... because there
arn't so many jokes in this movie
I dont know how to explain this movie, all my
friends love it but i think theres something
missing... but take my word this movie is still
enjoyable and good fun, and as much as the story
blows, it was something i enjoyed, and thats the
main thing.

: This movie
was hilarious. I could not stop laughing. The
humor was similar to that of Evil Dead 2 or Army
of Darkness. One has got to hand it to British,
they know how to do original comedy. This is
the type of comedy that can be watched multiple
times, and would cause me to laugh each time.
