Synopsis:

A story about three women who live in a North African Islamic country.  Each has a different life.  Leila is a headstrong, intelligent student.  Naima is a doctor with a young daughter, and Amina is a housewife also with a daughter.

Brian's Rating: D+ : This movie tries to pull off what "Crash" did.  The artistic perspective of an inexplicably crossing of different lives all to underline the complexities of an underlying social issue.  In this case, it was the lives of three women, and the issue was the oppression of women in Tunisia.

Sadly, the film is made in Tunisia, and just cannot overcome its low budget and lack of experience.  The acting (in French) was mediocre, the director did nothing special, the film quality was downright bad, and the sets and/or location was underwhelming.  The central story was moderately interesting, but can go no further.  The dialog is choppy and the flow is hard to follow.
