The Freak's Rating: A : After Thanksgiving the Christmas movies begin to run in our house, and Elf is one of the top ones we reach for. Will Ferrell symbolizes all the innocence of a child and I can't imagine a Christmas without the film. Writing is sharp, acting is good all around and with the tiny exception of a little overacting by James Caan and Mary Steenburgen, this film is near perfect. Zooey Deschanel continues to get cuter as the years go by and the spotlight is on her acting (and singing) abilities here.

A great all-around Christmas classic for the entire family, Elf will remain one of my favorite for the season.

Angie's Rating: A : :)  So many quotable quotes... this is one is moving up my favorite christmas movie list.  If you haven't seen it yet, please do.  It's hilarious and you'll like it just as much as your kids!
