Synopsis:

Michael Newman (Sandler) is a hard working family man, who must please his boss (Hasselhoff), in order to get promoted. Problem is he gets less time with his family, and wishes for a remote in which he can control his life. This soon comes true for Newman, when he meets Morty (Walken), a crazy sales clerk, who has the ultimate remote. A remote in which he can do anything, including muting, skipping and dubbing his life. He finds this to be the opportunity in which he can not only skip every argument, but also skip to his promotion. He sees this as a good idea, until the remote goes horribly wrong.

Nate's Rating: D : Had a few funny parts but not enough to make it worthwhile.  The premise itself doesn't give much to go on, and the film doesn't even build on that.  The movie doesn't make sense, which could be forgivable, but then it tries to make sense and really fails badly.  But we all learn a valuable lesson in the end - fast forward buttons are way underused.

Sebastian's Rating: B : oh come on you guys are being waayy to harsh. I liked this movie the morrel was good there were some funny scenes and there were some silly scenes (what do you expect! this is adam sandler) but this movie was a good movie i did enjoy it so i'm giving it a solid B :|

The Freak's Rating: D : If Kate Beckinsale is not in this film for me to look at for two hours, it fails miserably.  The only humor I found was with the supporting cast.  Christopher Walken, on a dare apparently, stars as the "mad scientist" who designs the remote control.  His turn was mildly amusing.  When David Hasselhoff steps in as Sandler's boss he too has a few funny lines.  The rest is utter dribble.  The aforementioned Beckinsale could fold her laundry on screen for two hours and I'd buy a ticket to see it.  Sandler has hit bottom with this one in my opinion.
