How do you chase a serial killer you can't see?

Brian's Rating: D : Other than an intriguing plot concept, this movie does not have much going for it.  In concept the plot is good, but the script for it was downright terrible.  Acting was not bad, but not great.

About the script.  Its like they writers saw Usual Suspects and said, "hey, lets make a movie with a cool twist".  Then maybe 6 writers parceled out the work to write part of the script without ever consulting the other writers.  The result is a plot that has so many holes that I don't even know where to start.  It is downright ridiculous, almost to the point that if taken just a bit further with a different tone, this could have been a comedy.  I got the feeling that the script was taken from 2 different mystery books and forcibly combined into one script.

I am surprised this even got the green light from a producers, and even more surprised that Michael Madsen signed on to it.  He must have been really hard up for cash.
