Somehow this movie was nominated for awards. I
can't imagine why as it had less entertainment
value than watching my Roomba scurry about the
house.
The movie was about the author Truman Capote as
he researched and delivered his most famous
novel, "In Cold Blood". I have read the book,
and the book was a very well written account of
a pair of murders killing a wealthy farm family
in Kansas. The book was good. The movie was
not.
Mostly, I found it just boring. Almost nothing
happens, and there was little to nothing that
was thought provoking. Phillip Seymore
Hoffaman, as always, does a top notch job acting
as Truman Capote, but aside from that, there is
little reason to watch this film.
