Synopsis:
Emotional Arithmetic tells the story
of three people who formed a life-long bond while housed at a detention camp
during World War II that are reunited some 35 years later after being separated
from one another.
Brian's
Rating: D : There is not much good to say about this movie. It was just
flat out boring. It was inundated with slow tear-jerking cello music and such,
but it was completely overdone and utterly boring.
A few people get together who were part of the holocaust and as the almost
nonexistent plot unfolds, it is evident that they are all still carrying deep
scars.
There are just so many holocaust movies out there now, and almost every one of
them does it better than this one.
It doesn't get a complete failure since the acting was not terrible.
